Northampton Radio Club

Renewed energy from the top-down and the bottom-up has increased activity and success in areas such as construction, training and competition. Members at all levels are enjoying constructing projects:-

The enthusiastic M3s with their exciting DF antennas and phase comparators.
The 2E0s with antenna projects, ATV and APRS projects.
Gs & M0s with an high-performance 70cm transverter, 2 Elecraft K2s, an advanced DF project- all whilst steering the club with a steady helm, facilitating competitions, training, support groups and activities for all.

Our contest group is thriving and active at many events throughout the year and achieved first place in a national contest last year! Radio amateurs everywhere can look forward to a particularly challenging DF hunt scheduled for September and a number of video presentations on club nights. We are preparing for a busy contest season ahead.

Education at all licence levels is active- the current Foundation and Intermediate course members are approaching exam readiness.
