Northampton Radio Club welcomes you to our website! The Northampton Radio Club is one of the oldest clubs in the country, founded in 1913. We are open to anyone with an interest in amateur radio at any level and we run training courses for those wishing to obtain or upgrade a transmitting licence. The club is active in contests both on HF and VHF/UHF, special event stations, construction, rallies and social events. We have two club callsigns, G3GWB and G8LED, plus the contest call G8N.
The club is currently without a permanent meeting place, but we meet at the Doddridge Centre in St James on the third Thursday of each month at 8pm, and informally on the other Thursdays at a different venue. See the 'What's on' page for details of where and when. New members are always welcome.
Chairman: Richard G6TVB Secretary: John G4CZB |
