The Annual General Meeting of the Northampton Radio Club took place on Thursday 12th November. In the chair for the evening was Eric G4MZX, the Honorary Life President. Eleven club members were present plus three non-members. The minutes of the 2008 AGM were read and accepted as a true record. Reports from the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer were followed by a proposal that the membership subscription for 2010 should be reduced to £10 for all. After some discussion this was accepted unanimously.

Elections of Officers and the committee. Richard G6TVB was confirmed as Chairman for 2010/11, John G4CZB was re-elected as Secretary, and Jayne M3BQT re-elected as Treasurer. No nominations had been received for committee positions, but Eric requested volunteers from the membership and Chris G3MPZ, Graham M0GCR, Chris M0DOL and Ian G1BHR indicated they would be willing to serve as committee members. All were approved by the membership.

A proposal to make the Doddridge Centre the regular meeting place for the club for the next 12 months was considered. It was agreed that the Centre should be booked for a formal meeting for one Thursday each month, with informal meetings held in between at other venues. The committee will continue to actively pursue a more suitable place for club meetings.

At the conclusion of the AGM, the Chairman presented the club's silver trophy to Graham M0GCR for winning (jointly with Kelvin M0EBU) the Construction Competition. An award of the G3BDK Morse Trophy was made to John G4CZB for CW operating.
